What's a QR Code?
You've probably seen a QR Code and not known what it is. "QR" is short for "Quick Response," and is essentially a bar code that can be scanned by a mobile device.
What are QR Codes used for?
QR Codes are used on business cards, advertisements and other printed materials as a way for prospective clients to quickly access their website. You can also use it to share your videos, links or contact information; build and mobilize your social media communities; instructions; directions; feedback; and everything and anything else!
How do I scan a QR Code?
First, you'll need a smartphone with a camera and a QR Reader. Different apps are available for the various smartphones out there. Here are some free ones (clicking the link will take you to a page where they can be downloaded):
iPhone: QR Reader, NeoReader and Semacode
Android: QR Droid, BeeTagg and EggMon
BlackBerry: QR Code Scanner, Code Muncher and QRem
Windows Phone: i-nigma and UpCode
After you download and install the app, open it up. Most have a button you can click to scan the code (use ours above). Once it's scanned, it should have taken you to our mobile website!
